Xavier Rolin is a retired Vice-Admiral of the French Navy and currently naval adviser to the chairman of the THALES group.

He provides advice in all the fields of naval affairs, from strategy to technical issues, based on his experience gained during 40 years services in the French navy, including ship command at sea, operational command in Indian Ocean and Atlantic Ocean, strategic planning and program management. His last assignment was commander in chief for the Atlantic.
