Putting the personality back into events
Making and developing contacts is a social business, so MAST offers as many opportunities as possible for attendees to meet at informal gatherings before, during and after the event.
Before and after MAST
As a MAST Community member you can use the exclusive MAST Directory facilities to search (by several demographics) find and make contact with nearly 15,000 members of the global Maritime Security and Defence community.
During MAST events
At every MAST event there are several social functions designed at getting all segments of the entire MAST audience together…
- The MAST Party
MAST’s organisers are renowned for their extravagant (and free) parties. A great way to unwind with colleagues after the day’s business – or catch up with those contacts you didn’t meet during the day – each party’s theme changes to give you a taste of the host country’s/region’s traditions, entertainment, food and drink.
- Happy Hours
Generously sponsored by a prominent exhibitor (taking place at points in the exhibition hall), Happy Hours offer you the perfect occasion to recharge your batteries whilst finding out more about exhibition displays.
- VIP Luncheons (invitation only)
VIP Lunch(es) befitting the stature of the many VIPs and keynote/plenary speakers that visit MAST is hosted by either an event patron or exhibitor on either/both the Opening/Keynote day and/or Plenary day.
- Admirals’ Dinner (invitation only)
The most exclusive social function of the week (usually hosted by a key patron or exhibitor) takes place on the eve of MAST, uniting the most elevated of the event’s participants.
- VIP Executive Club Lounge
Typically hosted by one of MAST’s leading patrons, this VIP-only area is a hospitality suite providing refreshments between exhibition tours and conducting their other ‘duties’ during the event.
