MAST overview

Conference keynotes, plenaries, operational sessions, technical sessions, and more…

An impressive line-up of senior keynote speakers at the MAST Conference will deliver the ‘view from the top’, setting the scene for conference sessions of both operational and technical view-points to confront MAST’s core topics in great depth.

Speakers Corner

Commercial presentations that would otherwise be available only to delegates will be made free-of-charge in a dedicated parallel stream to all (including trade-show only visitors).

This year’s Speakers Corner will feature “Open-Mic” Sessions: simply turn up, book a 15-minute speaking slot into the interactive system, and give your presentation at the allotted time.

Global Trade-Show

MAST’s unique focus on future (and state-of-the-art) maritime security and defence platforms, systems and solutions attracts exhibits from innovative and world-leading international manufacturers and suppliers, government agencies and research/academic centres.

Exhibitors for the sixth MAST Trade-show started booking their stands at the last event (October 2009 in Stockholm, Sweden). In hand with increased interest from ‘new’ MAST exhibitors, the best spaces in the one large hall are likely to sell quickly. Prospective exhibitors are therefore advised to book space immediately to avoid disappointment!

The trade-show hall is adjacent to the conference rooms and will host all catering/restaurant/refreshments, ensuring the closest integration of all MAST participants ever.

For information on exhibiting in the Trade Show, please call Jackie Baron on +44 (0)1892 824418, or email her at jackieb@eievents.com.

Social functions

As anyone that has taken part in past MASTs will tell you, there are many complimentary social functions to help you network with your broadest spectrum of global colleagues, contacts and counterparts.

Highlights of the week’s social calendar include the Annual MAST Party and daily Happy Hours.

MAST Directory

A key component of the MAST Community membership area of the website is the MAST Directory. Regardless of your registration status for the event itself, you can contact similar-minded maritime specialists from around the world. Simply create your own user profile and preferences and the web site will start networking for you!

Unlike any other organiser⁽s meeting facility, the MAST meeting scheduler built into the MAST Directory is designed to help you to meet valuable contacts at the show, but equally before and after the event.

NB: to make the system as effective as possible, and maximise the contacts you make, please review your profile regularly.
